It’s officially Unboxing Day! Unless you are an author or follow BookTok or Bookstagram, you probably have no idea what I’m talking about. It’s like Christmas for authors.

Here’s the deal: A few months before publication day, your publisher sends out galleys (or the advanced reader copies) of your book. These are meant to be shared with media, influencers, and anyone who wants a finished (but not fully formatted) book in advance.

But thanks to social media, it’s now become required content for authors to capture and share. Hey, anything to push up those pre-sales.

So, in that spirit… Here’s the unboxing for my new book The Blueprint: Inside the Business of Roc-A-Fella Records!
